According to traditional Cantonese customs, what do you give the family at a funeral?

I heard you give money in odd amounts instead of flowers. Is this correct?

At the wake prior to the funeral ceremony, joss paper and prayer money (to provide the deceased with sufficient income in the afterlife) are burned continuously throughout.
Reply:I dunno about the odd number part, but money would be a good gift, or you can send wreaths for the viewing room. Or if they practice the burning custom you can buy something like a fake house or car or a fake big gold nugget for them to burn as well, go to the asian store and see if they carry anything like that. You typically wouldn't help them to buy the joss paper.
