less water, more sun.
If it is cold outside, don't have it touching the window.(It's too cold for the plant)
If this doesn't work, do the exact opposite. It's one of the two.
Try less water first, though.

Usually Yellow with dark spots means over watering the plant. Find out what type of plant it is, and find a care sheet.
